Owo means money in Yoruba. We built this because generic Western budgeting apps don't account for NEPA bills, Lagos rent, owambe season, or the reality of variable Nigerian income.

What we collect: Budget figures you enter, your Google profile (if you sign in), and a random session ID for anonymous users.
What we do NOT collect: Bank account details, BVN, passwords, or any sensitive financial credentials.
How data is stored: Encrypted at rest in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Anonymous sessions are deleted after 90 days of inactivity.
AI data: Your budget summary is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate advice. It is NOT stored by Anthropic beyond the API call.
No selling of data: We do not sell, share, or monetize your personal financial data.
Your rights (NDPR): Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), you have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data at any time. To delete all your data, use the button below or email us.
